Queensland Opposition Leader David Crisafulli criticises Premier Steven Miles' Brisbane Olympics plan calling it “1000 days of waste”. Premier Steven Miles and LNP Leader David Crisafulli have debated at the Queensland Media Club with the two leaders discussing a range of voter concerns as polling day looms. “What I am asking Queenslanders is after 1000 days of mess, give us 100 days to sort it out – within 100 days, an independent infrastructure delivery authority will map out a strategy that will make Queenslanders proud again,” Mr Crisafulli said. “When I talk to Queenslanders, they say they feel embarrassed about what could happen on the world stage under the current government; I say to them, please don’t because we have time. “So yes, there has been 1000 days of waste and the premier was the responsible minister but I’m asking Queenslanders for 100 days to sort out the mess. “In doing so, we can get back to what it was always about, road and rail, a 20-year tourism plan, using the Paralympic games to create accessible cities.”
