Queensland Premier Steven Miles discusses the cost of the Pioneer-Burdekin Hydro project - touting it over the Opposition's "unknown" smaller pumped hydro projects. Premier Steven Miles and state LNP Leader David Crisafulli have debated at the Queensland Media Club with the two leaders discussing a range of voter concerns as polling day looms. "The capital cost is high but the operational cost is very, very low, and the revenue from them is very, very high," Mr Miles said. "You have to admit that while the planning may not be complete for Pioneer-Burdekin, it is much much more advanced than the unknown plan for an unknown number of smaller pumped hydros with an unknown number of megawatts in unknown locations."
