Quebec launches public consultation to abolish daylight saving time

Next week, many of us will turn the clocks back one hour, as we leave daylight saving time and fall back into standard time. The twice-annual time change is a contentious subject every year and the idea of abolishing it altogether is always simmering beneath the surface.
