Quebec woman accused of throwing boiling water on 10-year-old boy charged with aggravated assault

A woman who allegedly threw boiling water on a 10-year-old boy on Montreal’s south shore was formerly charged Friday with aggravated assault. Stéphanie Borel, 46, was rearrested Friday following new evidence in the case. The boy was walking home from school with friends when a scalding liquid was thrown on him from a neighbour’s balcony.
