Queensland government makes GP clinic election promise

Queensland's Premier Steven Miles is pledging a multi-million-dollar plan to reduce pressure on the health system ahead of this month's state election. Steven Miles has set aside $365 million to open 50 bulk-billing GP clinics aimed at lowering healthcare costs. The commonwealth usually covers the cost of GP clinics. The Opposition has criticised the plan.
