The Queensland Labor government’s election promises announced so far would cost taxpayers at least $4.7 billion and add to a debt that’s already forecast to continue growing over the next four years. The government’s flagship project to address ambulance ramping in Queensland is one of the more expensive parts of Labor’s election pitch. Queensland Labor has announced $3.5 billion in capital spend and $1.2 billion in expenses.
