Queensland Police poaching Victorian officers

Queensland Police have been poaching officers from Victoria.    The Herald Sun reports cash bonuses of up to $20,000 and other incentives are being offered to recruits who move north.   Data from the Queensland Police Service indicates people from Victoria are towards the top of the list of those choosing to relocate.   The advertising campaign takes place as vacancy numbers within the workforce increase.
