Questions raised over if pill testing legislation is ‘really the answer’

Sky News host James Macpherson says calls have been renewed for “mandatory pill testing” following MDMA overdoses at a festival. “There are renewed calls tonight for mandatory pill testing at music festivals,” Mr Macpherson said. “Now the Victorian Greens have already got a proposal for mandatory pill testing to go before parliament next month. “The events of the weekend have only strengthened their resolve. “This is a tragedy whenever you see someone overdose … but is pill testing really the answer here?”
