Quick count results put Prabowo Subianto in the lead with more than 58% of votes
Unofficial numbers in Indonesia’s presidential election show that Mr Prabowo Subianto is in the lead by a huge margin. According to Indonesian Survey Circle (LSI), based on 75.3 per cent of sample ballot, Mr Prabowo has a commanding lead with 58.84 per cent of votes, while Mr Anies has 23.93 per cent and Mr Ganjar has 17.23 per cent. Indikator Politik’s quick count from sampling at polling stations across the country showed Mr Prabowo with 58.03 per cent of votes, based on 53.37 per cent of ballots counted. His rivals Anies Baswedan and Ganjar Pranowo have 25.53 per cent and 16.45 per cent respectively. Another reputable pollster, Litbang Kompas showed Prabowo with 59.33 per cent of votes, followed by Anies with 24.06 per cent and Ganjar 16.62 per cent, based on 62 per cent of sample ballot counted.
