"Bahay Pangulo": Presidential Residence gets a makeover

Malacañang opened the doors of the newly renovated official residence of the President of the Republic of the Philippines for a sneak peek. Now officially named "Bahay Pangulo," the compound was renovated to address severe structural damage caused by termites and a strong earthquake in 2022. The structure designed by Architect Conrad Onglao features a Filipino-modern style that gives off resort-like vibes, based on the request of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos. Formerly known as "Bahay Pangarap", the compound has six main structures, namely the main house, the pavilion, the gym, the guest villa, the pool house, and the personnel quarters.
