"We are doing our very best to recover train services," said SMRT Trains president Lam Sheau Kai on Thursday (Sep 26). There will be no train service between Jurong East and Buona Vista MRT stations for the rest of Thursday, prolonging a disruption that started the day before, and the authorities are hoping to partially restore services on Friday.
