"We lived in terror": Jenin residents speak of "fear" after Israeli army withdra

Israeli forces pulled out of the Palestinian city of Jenin on Friday, leaving a mass of damaged buildings and infrastructure, following one of the biggest security operations in the occupied West Bank in months. Residents said they lived in "terror" for the duration of the raid, with some having had to flee their homes. "They left nothing. They destroyed vehicles and houses. Then they went to the other neighbourhood and then surrounded all the houses around us. For the past nine days, we have been living in terror and fear. And on top of that, there's no water and no electricity," said Jenin resident Samaher Abu Nassa. Twenty-one people were killed in the city and camp, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
