राजस्थान में टोंक जिले की देवली-उनियारा विधानसभा सीट पर बुधवार को उपचुनाव के लिए वोटिंग हुई। इस दौरान निर्दलीय प्रत्याशी नरेश मीणा ने पहले SDM अमित चौधरी का पहले कॉलर पकड़ा और फिर थप्पड़ जड़ दिया। नरेश मीणा का आरोप था कि EVM मशीन पर उनका चुनाव चिन्ह हल्का दिख रहा है। इसी बात पर मीणा की एसडीएम से बहस हुई थी। इस घटना के बाद जब नरेश मीणा को पुलिस पकड़ने गई तो समरावता गांव के लोगों ने पुलिस पर हमला कर दिया। पुलिस की गाड़ी को आग के हवाले कर दिया गया। उनपर पत्थर फेंके गए जिसके जवाब में पुलिस ने भी हवाई फायरिंग की। अब पुलिस ने भारी बल के साथ जाकर नरेश मीणा को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। Rajasthan: Police arrest Naresh Meena from Tonk's Samravata village after slap video goes viral Rajasthan violence: Independent candidate from Deoli-Uniara assembly constituency, Naresh Meena accused Congress MP from Tonk Harish Chandra Meena behind the whole incident.
