Rand weakens as SA awaits GNU cabinet announcement

The Rand seemed initially euphoric over the prospect of a Government of National Unity involving the ANC, DA and IFP. But as the announcement of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s cabinet has been delayed due to wrangling, it has lost some of its strength.
