Rare bird interrupts fountain show at the Bellagio in Las Vegas

A rare yellow-billed loon that temporarily shut down the famous fountain show at the Bellagio in Las Vegas has been rescued and relocated to a "more suitable" location, according to wildlife officials in Nevada. The bird is usually found in coastal areas. That may explain why hotel officials say the loon “found comfort on Las Vegas’ own Lake Bellagio.” Wildlife officials said the bird had no apparent injuries and appeared to be in good health before being released in its new home on Wednesday morning.
