RBA expected to keep rates on hold at 12-year high

The Reserve Bank of Australia is widely expected to keep interest rates on hold on Tuesday at the 12-year high of 4.35 per cent. Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd says the unemployment figures last week showed the “strength” of Australia’s jobs market. “Employers are still hiring people at a time when economic growth was just 0.2 per cent in the recent quarter,” Mr Boyd said.
