RBA keeps cash rate on hold at 4.35 per cent

The Reserve Bank Board has kept the cash rate on hold at 4.35 per cent. It was warned the board considered raising interest rates to bring down inflation, which is still too high. RBA Governor Michele Bullock has said “we need a lot to go our way” to get inflation back down to the target band of 2-3 per cent.
