‘Really solemn’ vigil service held in Bondi for October 7 attacks

Hundreds from the Jewish community gathered at Bondi Beach in Sydney for a vigil service commemorating the October 7 attacks. Sky News reporter Georgia Boonen said the “really solemn” vigil began at 6:29 am to honour the time missiles were fired into Israel’s Nova festival. The date is also mourned by Middle Eastern communities as they grieve the loss of 42,000 Palestinian lives and over 2,000 Lebanese lives.
