‘Reckless and deceptive’: Peta Credlin on PM’s handling of visas debacle
Sky News host Peta Credlin says Australians are angry at just how “reckless and deceptive” Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has proven himself to be. A former senior official told the Australian that Labor's decision to grant 3,000 visitor visas to Palestinians since October 7 was politically motivated and almost certainly done against departmental advice. “The PM is a master at attacking his opponents' character,” Ms Credlin said. “He doesn't just disagree with their point of view, he brands them as bad or immoral for having a different view in the first place. “He watches as Teals call Peter Dutton a racist and won't call it out, happy enough for the slur to be thrown around; while at the same time, claiming that Dutton is negative and divisive when that's Albanese's stock in trade, and always has been.”
