Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism industry is enjoying a bumper year, with 2024 set to smash the previous records for arrivals. The country is set to close 2024 with an estimated 15 per cent improvement over 2019, the previous best year on record. It is welcome news as tourism is by far the country's most important revenue-earning sector, and the lynchpin of economic activity. The figures were revealed on Friday by portfolio minister, Hon. Charles Fernandez, during an exclusive interview with ABS News. Garfield Burford reports.
