Regional agri-food systems must be transformed

Guyana's Minister of Agriculture, Zulfiker Mustapha says the agri-food systems of Latin America and the Caribbean are vulnerable and must be transformed. He wants to see the capacity of each country boosted, along with the region. This message was conveyed at the launch of the 38th Food and Agriculture Organisation's 38th Regional Conference for Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr. Mustapha adds Guyana is the ideal country to bring Latin America and the Caribbean together.
