Regional legends ready for PM's Cup exhibition match
The Caribbean Legends are eager to get on the pitch, as they prepare to face a Barbados Legends squad on Saturday in an exhibition match during the Prime Minister's Cup finale at Kensington Oval. Central defender Oscar Nero, who is based in the US Virgin Islands, says he's excited to be back in Barbados for such a big event. Nero represented St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the national level and once lived here. Expected to add some attacking flair to the contest is former St. Lucia national striker Earl Jean. A coach in his native St. Lucia, Jean says Barbados is always close to his heart and part and parcel of his international career. The Legends match is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
