Reinsurance could open new chapter for industry

The presence of a reinsurance company in Barbados could open a new chapter for the industry. The comment from President of the General Insurance Association of Barbados, Randy Graham as Active Capital Re-Insurance Limited or Active-Re opened operations in Barbados last month. The top insurance official tells the business report a number of similar companies are registered locally, but none have ever opened an office.
