Renewables are a ‘key plank’ to reach net zero by 2050

Nationals Senator Bridget McKenzie says the Coalition thinks renewables are a “key plank” of getting to net zero by 2050. Ms McKenzie told Sky News Australia that renewable energy “cannot deliver the reliability” needed. “We’re seeing that play out right now in the fragility of our electricity grid as we speak.”
