Renewables only approach ‘pushing energy prices up’

Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume has blasted the Albanese government saying they have a “war on gas”. “Having a renewables-only one size fits all approach we can see now is pushing energy prices up,” Ms Hume told Sky News Australia. “We want to say we’re open to new supply sources, yes there has to be renewables but there also has to be more gas into the system. “This government does seem to have a war on gas.”
