renewed focus is being placed on drug prevention
As renewed focus is being placed on drug prevention this Drug Awareness Month. The National Council on Substance Abuse, says substance abuse is a public health issue and must be treated as such. Deputy Manager, Troy Wickham says it's not solely a matter for the judiciary and everyone must play a part in combating the issue. This he says is occurring in the home, from friends or family members. Mr. Wickham was a guest on CBC TV8's Mornin' Barbados.
