Report warns AI poses risk for election disruption

Election disruption from artificial intelligence poses the biggest risk this year, that’s according to a report released on Wednesday by the World Economic Forum. The NGO’s ‘Global Risks Report’ says that AI-derived misinformation and disinformation could disrupt elections, as half of the world’s adult population heads to the polls in 2024.
