Reporters witness 6.8-magnitude earthquake in China

A 6.8-magnitude earthquake jolted Dingri County in Shigatse of southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday (Beijing Time). On their way to the quake area, China News Service reporters saw several rescue vehicles rush to the scene. As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, a total of 95 people have been confirmed dead and 130 others injured after the quake. Rescue work is underway.
