Reserve Bank ‘set the alarm bells off’ on inflation

Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor says the Reserve Bank of Australia has “set the alarm bells off”.  “For good reason – they’ve said inflation is going up, not down right now ... and we need to see a pathway to tame it, and we haven’t seen that,” Mr Taylor told Sky News Australia.  “The real job here is to tame that inflation.”  Mr Taylor’s remarks come as the government prepares to hand down its third budget on Tuesday night.
