Concerns have been raised by residents of northern Barbados pertaining to the recently installed traffic lights on Highway 2A at the Royal Westmoreland junction and the daily back up of traffic along that route. Government officials experienced it first hand en route to the Parish Speaks in St. Lucy. Resident, Carlos Bignall says the situation has gotten worse promoting a response from the Prime Minister, Mia Amor Mottley who suggests officials may have to do a review. Technical Officer in the Ministry of Transport and Works, Jason Bowen told residents they are aware of the issue of congestion at the junction.
