Resources Minister accuses the Coalition of being 'anti-resources'
Resources Minister Madeleine King slams the Coalition for being "anti-resources" by not supporting Labor's production tax credit bill for critical and rare earth minerals. "Australia's critical minerals and rare earths are in demand right around the world and that demand will only grow as we create more green technology, and of course, they are integral defence technologies that need our rare earth," Ms King said at Question Time on Monday. "By their words and deeds, Mr Speaker, in opposing this support for the critical minerals industry, the Coalition are showing themselves for exactly who they are – anti-Western Australian, anti-Queensland, anti-jobs in communities right across through your electors, they are anti-resources. "Well, I say to the Oopposition, why don't you support production tax credits for critical minerals? Well, it is because you are anti-resource."
