Reveira creates history at BFS

Angela Reveira's name is now etched in the history of the Barbados Fire Service. She is the first female officer to reach a senior management position there in 45 years. The announcement from Chief Fire Officer, Errol Maynard who says Reveira has been promoted to Station Officer. She is also the first officer to don the Fire Service's new epaulettes. The Barbados Fire Service has also recognised three of its first female officers, Hermina Barrow, Ena Gittens and Juanita Greaves The Fire Chief says the women have been excellent examples of service and commitment.
