Rice production to increase

Rice production in this country is about to get a major boost. The reassurance comes from Agriculture Minister Kazim Hosein who says recent interventions will ensure there is enough rice on grocery shelves to feed this nation. The minister was speaking at a recent MOU signing between Tringen, Yara and the University of the West Indies, which seeks to strengthen agriculture and food security by collaborating with farmers on soil testing and nutrition.
