Rio de Janeiro prepares to host G20 Foreign Ministers meeting

Next week, the G20 Foreign Ministers meeting will take place at Marina da Gloria in Rio de Janeiro. This is the first major meeting of the G20 under Brazil’s presidency. The year-long agenda will focus on President Lula da Silva’s key priorities: hunger, sustainable development, and global governance. Lucas Padilha, President of Rio’s G20 committee, emphasizes the crucial role of Brazil, particularly Rio, in 2024.
