Rishi Sunak celebrating slowing inflation is 'unedifying'

The boss of supermarket chain Iceland has chided Rishi Sunak for celebrating the slowing down of inflation. Richard Walker said it was "unedifying to see Rishi [Sunak] celebrating that he has single-handedly halved inflation when, of course, we know it's nothing to do with him - it's the Bank of England and global economic factors". He added that his customers were still caught in a cost of living crisis.
