For more: https://www.cgtn.com/video Almost 25,000 Palestinians have reportedly been killed during the ongoing conflict in Gaza, and the majority have been women and children. In a related development, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has accused Israel of financing Hamas in an attempt to weaken the Palestinian Authority, adding that only a two-state solution imposed from the outside would bring peace between the two sides. At the same time, multiple strikes and attacks have taken place throughout the region over the past few weeks. As international pressure seems to be mounting, will Israel end its military operation in Gaza any time soon? Are we witnessing the conflict spilling over into the rest of the region? And is a two-state solution still a possibility or completely off the table? Guests in this episode are Sara Yael Hirschhorn, visiting professor at the University of Haifa; Yossi Mekelberg, associate fellow at the MENA Programme of Chatham House; Einar Tangen, senior fellow at Taihe Institute; and Kawa Hassan, nonresident fellow at the MENA Program, Stimson Center.
