Rita Smyke celebrates 110 ‘not out’

One of the oldest surviving descendants of the Merikens, Rita Smyke, celebrated her 110th birthday in Marabella on Friday. Known for her warmth and her keen sense of humour, Granny Smyke shared her birthday desires. Radhica De Silva and Ivan Toolsie visited the family today to bring us this story.
