Road safety campaign expanded beyond motorcyclists to include drivers

An annual campaign to encourage good road practices among motorcyclists will be expanded to include drivers this year. Such "sensible" motorists will be “pulled over” by the Traffic Police - to be rewarded with a goodie bag with practical items like a raincoat for motorcyclists and a mini air purifier for drivers. Both riders and drivers alike say it takes both sides to ensure everyone's safety. Minister of State for Home Affairs Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim says businesses that use fleet riders and drivers can play a part by giving employees more time to complete their work.
