Roku says nearly 576,000 accounts affected by latest data breach

Roku shared news of another security breach with its users on Friday after an incident in March that impacted thousands of users. Early this year, Roku's security monitoring systems detected an "increase in unusual activity." After an investigation, the company found that "unauthorized" actors accessed around 15,000 user accounts using login credentials. Roku said the credentials were stolen from another source "unrelated to Roku through a method known as 'credential stuffing.'"
