Rowe officially removed as Deputy Speaker

It's official - St. Michael North West MP, Neil Rowe has been stripped of his post as Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly. The development unfolded during this afternoon's sitting of the House. Leader of Government Business and Deputy Prime Minister, Santia Bradshaw wrote to House Speaker, His Honour Arthur Holder, requesting the action be taken. The Deputy Prime Minister then proposed Parliamentary Representative for St. Thomas, Cynthia Forde, for the role and the MPs in the Chamber voted in favour.
