Royals' holiday home Balmoral Castle opens its doors to public for first time
The royal family's holiday retreat Balmoral Castle opened its doors to the public on Monday for the first time in its history. For the first time since the castle was completed in 1855, visitors will be able to catch a glimpse of royal life in the Scottish Highlands. Visitor Enterprise Manager James Hamilton-Goddard said the tickets were all sold out within a few hours of going on sale back in April. The lucky ones who managed to purchase a £100 ($127) ticket will be able to enjoy seven of the castle's rooms with a guide. Forty visitors per day will be allowed to tour the residence and the daily tours will continue to August 4. — Report from Reuters Subscribe to the ABS-CBN News channel! - http://bit.ly/TheABSCBNNews Watch full episodes on iWantTFC for FREE here: http://iwanttfc.com Visit our website at http://news.abs-cbn.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/abscbnNEWS Twitter: https://twitter.com/abscbnnews Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/abscbnnews
