RSLPF ISSUES STERN WARNING AFTER SOCIAL MEDIA THREATS

The Royal St. Lucia police force has issued its sternest warning to date, against those issuing threats directed at members of the force in the wake of the shooting death of Maxwell Leo alias Hennessy. Leo died during a police operation in Anse La Raye early Saturday morning. The police were responding to reports of a robbery and later identified the getaway vehicle in which Leo and his companions were traveling. There are doubts emerging about who shot Leo. With online and police sources suggesting that Leo may have been shot by one of the occupants of the vehicle in which he was traveling. The shooting death of Leo has generated an outpouring of grief and threatening statements by some of his associates.
