Rugby Union Future Fund launched to save the sport

A Rugby Union Future Fund has been launched in an attempt to revive the sport. The fund will donate one per cent of its assets annually to the Australian Rugby Foundation and will attempt to target a $100 million raise. Rugby Future Fund Investment Committee Chairman Brian O’Sullivan claims the objective of the foundation is to invest in the “growth and participation” of rugby across all aspects of the sport. “We need to … work together across the whole game to increase growth and participation in the game.
