RURAL DIGITAL INCLUSION: UCUSAF BRIDGING THE RURAL DIGITAL DIVIDE IN NORTH EASTERN UGANDA

UCUSAF, a rural digital empowerment fund by the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) and its partners have held a day long Digital Literacy training for Women and girls in Awiri subcounty, Dokolo North Constituency, Dokolo district. This training is the first of the funds 4th strategic cycle and is aimed at closing the digital literacy gaps faced by several rural communities Uganda. As government steadily adopts technology in boosting public service efficiency, there is growing concerns of disproportionate access of ICT services in rural communities of Uganda.
