Russian captain of ship in North Sea crash charged with gross negligence manslaughter
The Russian captain of the Solong container ship involved in the North Sea crash has been charged with gross negligence manslaughter. Vladimir Motin, 59, of Primorsky, St Petersburg, Russia, has been remanded in police custody and is due to appear at Hull Magistrates Court on Saturday, Humberside Police said.
