Russian state ‘actively working’ to ‘support’ Donald Trump’s campaign

Sky News US Analyst Michael Ware says Russian President Vladimir Putin has taken a “jab” at Kamala Harris while his “covert machinery” works overtime to support former US President Donald Trump. Mr Ware’s comments come after Mr Putin weighed in on the US Presidential election saying he would prefer it if Kamala Harris were to win. “This is the poison pill endorsement,” Mr Ware told Sky News Australia. “No one wants it and as we’ve seen from these Department of Justice indictments … the reality is that the Russian state is actively working to support former President Trump’s campaign. “The poison pill endorsement, on the one hand, he wants to have a jab at Kamala Harris by endorsing her, while the rest of his covert machinery is working overtime to support former President Trump.”
