Rystad Energy's Somnath Kansabanik on US-Singapore civil nuclear cooperation agreement

A civil nuclear cooperation agreement inked between Singapore and the US has entered into force. Known as the "123 Agreement", it will see the two countries collaborating in areas like nuclear safety and security, as well as facilitating Singapore's access to information and technological expertise. The deal will last 30 years. Mr Somnath Kansabanik, principal at Rystad Energy Singapore, shared how this will benefit the country and the knowledge gaps it could fill.
