SA's health Emergency | Eastern Cape security guards left in a lurch

Eastern Cape Health has not paid security companies contracted to render services at its facilities. Hundreds of guards were sent home without pay despite being expected to report for work daily. If they don’t, they say they’ve been warned they’ll be fired.
