The Sabarimala Mandala-Makaravilakku festival has set new records this year, with 22,67,956 devotees visiting the sacred hill shrine in just the first 29 days. This marks an increase of over 4.5 lakh pilgrims compared to the same period last year, reflecting the growing devotion and spiritual significance of this annual celebration. The festival began on November 16 and by December 15, not only has the number of devotees reached new heights, but the revenue figures have been equally remarkable.
