Safe Clubbing Campaign returns amid rise in outrage of modesty, fights at nightlife establishments
The police said more than 100 cases of outrage of modesty were reported at nightlife outlets from January to September 2023 -- a 37% jump from the same period the year before. Crimes like rioting and causing serious hurt also increased by 25%. To curb these, new tools -- like a mobile game -- are being distributed to nightlife outlets for this year's Safe Clubbing Campaign. The campaign will also encourage individuals to drink responsibly, and remind friends to look out for one another. Chloe Choo reports.
